Could Bachmann’s headaches be her downfall?

I’m getting a headache from talking about Michelle Bachmann’s headaches.
Read on and let me know what you think.

Arena Asks: Michele Bachmann’s campaign has been overshadowed this week by questions about her chronic migraine attacks – a condition that has proved debilitating.
Could Bachmann’s migraine problem interfere with her ability to serve as president?
And was she smart to preemptively release information about her migraines?

My Answer:
Bachmann is headache walking.

But her migraines are no more of a deterrent than JFK’s debilitating, and often medicated, back problems or Reagan’s looming Alzheimer’s or FDR’s paralyzed legs or Lincoln’s depression or Ulysses Grant’s wee problem with the drink.

Will Take The Lead for (Everyone’s) Good

The new book from Gloria Feldt about the future, taking the leadership lessons learned from this disruption and creating a better world for all through the power of intention.

Let’s move on to exposing how her policies would turn America into the kind of patriarchal, bigoted theocracy my grandparents came here to escape. Leave Bachmann to manage her own headaches, hopefully back home in Minnesota come January, 2013.

David Austin You know what? I hope not. I loathe her with a passion, but this phony-baloney is NOT a reason to deny her a shot. I have suffered from migraines since my teens and I resent the implication that this condition is the sort of syndrome that would prevent ME from holding office if I chose to run for something. it certainly hasn’t stopped me from doing a whole lot of other things, including raising a family.

Darla Engle Wallace Absolutely. People with severe migraines cannot function. Period! I know from experience!

Perry Dorrell That she suffers from migraines? No. That she’s batsh– crazy? Yes.

Darla Engle Wallace Maybe the migraines have contributed to being “batsh– crazy!”

Donna Jorgensen Slutiak I don’t think so. I don’t want her in office for many reasons, but having migraines should not disqualify her.

David Austin All due respect, Darla, but I’ve managed pretty well for all these years and I don’t think I’m all that “crazy.” At least not in a bad way.

Darla Engle Wallace I hear you David! I, too, kept my sanity after a few years of severe headaches. I was just commenting on maybe there is a reason for her “unusual” personality. I am wondering who would run the country when someone with migraines is incapacitated. Because, I know from experience that no one would have wanted my finger on the red button during one of these migraines! I firmly believe that anyone who has severe migraines should not be in office. Someday, if she is lucky, the migraines will probably go away. Mine did. Thank goodness!

    Michael Druckman You hope so.

Lori Sokol Actually, I’d prefer she have a headache rather than she give us all one. But to think that her ‘headache’ could be her downfall, and not all of the other missteps she continues to make is is appalling.

Suzette Sommer Next nightmare : Rick Perry of TX

Darla Engle Wallace They all bring new meaning to “Send in the Clowns!”

Suzette Sommer Amen! What the hell has happened to the Republican party!!!?

Darla Engle Wallace Money…and fooling people into thinking it has anything to do with being a christian. Sad, but so true.

Michael Druckman Why do liberals loth?

    Gloria Feldt What’s a loth?
